KAIST Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 is an amazing opportunity for international undergraduate students to study in Korea on scholarship. The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology scholarship will help the selected students to get advanced education and to make progress in research, entrepreneurship, and globalization. The KAIST University scholarship 2025 will select the students on the basis of academic record, interpersonal skills, integrity, and leadership skills.

KAIST is one of the leading universities in South Korea. It was founded in 1971 by the Korean Government. KAIST has 3 campuses, two in Daejeon and in Seoul and it consists of 5 colleges, 6 schools, and 38 Departments. Currently, international students from more than 95 countries are studying at KAIST. Besides degree programs, KAIST also hosts other programs, such as conferences, workshops, exchange programs, and symposiums with overseas universities.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an international student.
  • The applicants must have a good academic record.
  • The applicants have a high school diploma or degree from their home country’s institutions.
  • Applicants holding dual citizenship are not eligible to apply.

Application

  • Step 1: Complete the online application form on the KAIST admissions portal.
  • Step 2: Pay the application fee as indicated during the online application process.
  • Step 3: Submit the required documents, including academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and recommendations.
  • Step 4: Upload a personal statement and study plan as part of your application.
  • Step 5: Check the application status and wait for the decision announcement.

Required Documents

  • Completed KAIST Scholarship online application form.
  • Academic transcripts from high school.
  • Standardized test scores (such as SAT, ACT, or other equivalents)
    • Submission of English Proficiency Test (EPT) scores is optional but highly recommended.
    • Applicants may request an EPT exemption if they are from English-speaking countries or completed high school where English was the language of instruction.
    • A letter from the high school is required for exemption.
  • Recommendation letters.
  • Personal statement and study plan.
  • Proof of English proficiency (like TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).
  • Passport or nationality certificate.
  • Financial resources statement (if applicable).
