AKFC International Youth Fellowship 2025 | Fully Funded

Deadline: January 31, 2025

The AKFC International Youth Fellowship offers Canada’s recent graduates and early-career professionals a chance to enhance their careers with a global perspective. The AKFC fellowship program combines a three-week intensive pre-departure training in Ottawa with an eight-month overseas placement. Fellows work with local organizations across Africa and Asia, implementing programs to improve the quality of life in communities through the support of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

Fellows are placed in one of three streams: International Development Management (IDM), International Microfinance and Microenterprise (IMM), or Young Professionals in Media (YPM). Placements are tailored to their skills and interests, providing hands-on experience in fields like health, education, microfinance, or media. The fully funded fellowship program’s collaborative nature equips participants with the tools and insights needed to make meaningful contributions to their host organizations and local communities.
