Market Research Associate (Remote)
About the job:
A former venture capitalist is looking for support doing market research and data entry. This position will start as a 4 month contract role but could result in a long-term opportunity. Most of the work will focus on the global developer training and IT staffing space, although some of it will focus on Lagos specifically.

What you’ll do
– Market research – the majority of your work will include internet research to build databases of companies and people. This could include creating a spreadsheet of companies who run fully remote workforces that employ >30 people.
– Data entry – some of the work will be tedious and involve tasks like manually scraping a list of linkedin profiles for key attributes.
– Summarization and analysis – other work will include compiling short summaries on specific companies and their product offerings.
You Should Have:
– Clear and concise writing
– Strong knowledge of google sheets or airtable.
– A love for strategy and analysis.
– The ability to extract signal from messy data.
– An interest in entrepreneurship and the growth of Nigerian tech
Pay
– 130,000 Naira / month + 20,000 naira monthly stipend for internet. For the right person, this role will provide opportunities for learning and growth. One day per work week will be set aside for your own learning or personal projects.
