Deadline: March 31, 2025
Sankofatech’s Achievers in Technology (AIT) program is an intensive, four-year initiative designed to cultivate the next wave of Black technology leaders in the United States. Recognizing that young people of African descent often overlook technology careers due to limited industry awareness, community misconceptions (such as a perceived lack of prestige), and a scarcity of resources, AIT seeks to address these challenges head-on.
Through their AIT program, scholars engage in a comprehensive four-year journey, gaining vital skills and access to a supportive network of peers, mentors, advisors, and established professionals in the technology sector. This program is their commitment to building a robust pipeline of Black Software Engineers and Data Scientists.

- An annual $500 scholarship award (only awarded in the first two years)
- Mentorship

- Diverse Network of Black Tech Professionals
- Opportunity to attend a Tech Conference
To thrive in their challenging program, they seek students with a passion for learning, exceptional time management skills, and an unwavering commitment to success.

- Demonstrate a strong interest in a career in Software Engineering or Data Science
