NYU fellowship is a two-day in-person program at the Greenwich Village campus in New York City. The program will include a variety of educational and social events. These social events will provide networking opportunities to fellows, who will get a chance to get to know each other and NYU faculty members outside the formal academic setting. This fully funded fellowship in New York is an amazing opportunity for fellows to expand their knowledge regarding climate change and its effects.

During the NYU Stern Fellowship in the USA, participants will explore the main elements and latest developments in finance and climate economics. Climate change is rapidly reshaping the planet and is intensely evolving the economy as well. For Journalists who plan to expand their climate reporting, it is important for them to understand the financial and economic shifts along with the science and politics behind climate change.

Benefits

  • Fellows living outside the New York Metro Area will receive a stipend of $2,000.
  • This amount will be used to cover airfare and accommodation costs.
  • Meals will be covered by the NYU Stern.
  • Fellows living inside the New York Metro Area will receive a stipend of $1,000.
  • Opportunity to learn from experts in their fields.
  • A great chance to have a fully funded trip to New York.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should be journalists, reporters, editors, or freelancers covering the interface between climate and the economy.
  • Journalists can be based outside the USA.
  • Fellows will be selected based on the documents submitted by them.
  • Applicants should be available to attend the complete program in person.
