The course curriculum of this international scholarship program combines the latest scientific advancements in biomembranes and students are offered research opportunities through joint projects and partnerships. MemBioMed Scholarship for international students will include hands-on internships so that students can have real-world practical experience. The scholarship will include workshops and theme-based schools to address new technologies and crucial challenges in the field.

Practical training during this scholarship program in France, Italy, and Germany will help graduates to become leaders in science, entrepreneurship, industry, and specialize in the complex areas of cell membranes and their therapeutic applications. The program will will also focus on enhanced communication and networking which will prepare students to perform exceptionally well in global leadership roles.

Scholarship Duration

  • 2 years (4 semesters)

  • Scholarship holders will not pay participation costs or other mandatory costs related to their participation in the Erasmus Mundus program.
  • The scholarship will be awarded for the entire duration of the Master’s program for 12 months.
  • The scholarship amount will be calculated as 1400 Euros per month.
  • The scholarship amount will be used to cover travel costs, visa, installation, and subsistence costs.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should have proficiency in English language. They should provide the required evidence document of their English proficiency.
  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (180 ECTS) with advanced courses in cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, biophysics, biotechnology, bioengineering, cell medical biology, pharmacology, and statistics. Advanced laboratory or research will be preferred.
  • Applicants who are enrolled in their last year of Bachelor’s program at the time of application can apply but they have to provide proof of their graduation before the program will start.

Required Documents

  • CV in Europass format.
  • A cover letter.
  • A scan of passport/national ID scan.
  • Copies of certificates, degrees, or diplomas in English.
  • A scan of an official 1st cycle degree diploma or other eligible diploma in Life Sciences, recognized by the EU as a 1st or 2nd cycle degree equivalent to at least 180 ECTS credits.
  • Proof of current enrollment, and declaration of the degree ending date.
  • Course list of the Bachelor Diploma with a description of the courses and the grades.
  • 2 recommendation letters sent from the referee’s email to the MemBioMed Program at benoit@univ-cotedazur.fr
  • Evidence of English proficiency.
