The Program for Undergraduate Research (PURE) provides students with practical research experience. Participants will be expected to attend at least three seminars, make a final presentation, and submit a research report and poster. International students must provide proof of health insurance and manage their own visa process. The Turkiye Scholarships Summer Research Program 2025 is strictly face-to-face, and successful completion will earn students a certificate of participation.

Applications for the PURE Summer Program 2025 is open from 26 March to 11 April 2025. Students must submit an online application, including a transcript, statement of purpose, and optional reference letters. Domestic students need to meet academic standards and demonstrate English proficiency. International students will need to submit additional documents, including proof of health insurance.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate students from all universities are eligible to apply.
• Graduate students are not eligible for the program.
• Applicants must have good academic standing and sufficient English proficiency to meet the requirements of the research projects (no English proficiency test required).
• The program is open to both domestic and international students.
• Students must be able to attend the program in person as there is no online option.
• Applicants should be undergraduate students at the time of the program (students who have already graduated are not eligible).
• Students must be available for the program duration, which is 7 July to 28 August 2025.
• Sabancı University students enrolled in summer internships or summer school are not eligible for the program.
