The Taiwan Alliance in International Development is accepting applications for the Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program 2025. This fellowship offers a valuable opportunity to gain meaningful experience while working in a cross-cultural environment. You will develop a deeper understanding of professional dynamics by interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
The Taiwan AID Fellowship Program aims to nurture professional leadership by providing participants with the opportunity to attend workshops, take part in a three-week NGO placement, and engage in roundtable discussions. Your placement with a Taiwanese NGO will be based on your professional background.
This fully funded fellowship in Taiwan is designed to strengthen international cooperation and help candidates develop area-specific skills. For one month, you will gain firsthand exposure to the day-to-day operations of Taiwanese NGOs. Depending on your area of interest, you may take part in event planning, project management, or fundraising activities.
This international fellowship aims to enhance your professional knowledge through hands-on work on meaningful projects. These experiences will serve as a foundation for exploring future collaboration opportunities in your home country. Eligibility
- The age of the applicant should be between 25 to 40 years.
- The preference would be given to the applicants who specialized in one of the following fields:
- Community development,
- Environment,
- Education,
- Gender,
- Human rights,
- Media and Information Technology,
- LGBTQ+,
- Medical service,
- Social welfare.
- The applicant, having an outstanding background in fields other than the above-mentioned fields, is also eligible to apply.
- The applicant must have three years of experience in NGO.
- The applicant must exhibit professional excellence.
- The applicant must be an independent individual.
- The applicant must be self-motivated towards his/her professional goals.
- The applicant must be able to complete the fellowship with keen interest.
- The applicant must be excellent in the written or oral English language.
- Applicants fluent in Mandarin are preferred.
- The following nationalities are eligible to apply for the program:
- Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Leste Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
- South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan
- Northeastern Asia: Japan, South Korea, Mongolia
- Pacific Island Region: Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu
