Deadline: May 31, 2025

Schneider Go Green Competition 2025 is an exciting international challenge for individuals from diverse backgrounds. In this global competition, entrants are required to submit a creative business model that provides clean, economical, and renewable energy solutions customized to the requirements of local communities. The first category of this challenge is “Solar Power Agriculture” in which participants have to find solutions for solar-powered pre/post-harvesting, storage, and processing. The other category is “Solar Powered Microbusinesses” in which applicants have to come up with innovative ideas for retail and services, refrigeration, manufacturing, and production.

The project proposals submitted in this online entrepreneurship competition should suggest cost-effective solutions making clean energy economical and accessible to everyone including low-income communities. The solutions that will be sustainable, recyclable, repairable, and effective for long-term use and maintenance will be considered for top prizes. It is suggested that proposals should be designed by considering the locally available components so that the solar system can be installed, operated, and maintained by people within the local community.

Schneider Go Green Virtual Competition is a unique opportunity for international students and young entrepreneurs who are passionate about making a difference through innovation in renewable energy.
