YOJO (Young Journalists) – iMedD’s bold, non-profit newsroom – is searching for the next generation of reporters who will shape the future of independent journalism. They are offering one- or two-year paid placement opportunities to recent graduates from all over the world, at their cutting-edge newsroom in Athens, Greece, where you’ll create impactful, transparent, and innovative journalism.

  • Build your portfolio: Walk away after one or two years with a strong personal body of published journalistic work, distributed across platforms.

Eligibility

  • Recent graduate of undergraduate or postgraduate studies (within the last 18 months, since October 2023) OR final-year student (all countries welcome)
  • Fluent in English (Greek is a plus but not required)
  • No newsroom experience required—just a strong sense of curiosity and commitment to ethical, impactful journalism
  • Willingness to relocate to Athens and thrive in a dynamic newsroom environment
