Global research immersion program is a fully funded internship for undergraduate and graduate students. The panel will select around 200 outstanding students from across the world to have a captivating research experience at 4 different renowned universities in China. Students can select a project related to Engineering & Technology, Interdisciplinary Science, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Science, and Social Science.
Along with working on their research projects, interns will be taken to industry visits and tours around the beautiful Yangtze River Delta region. They will get guidance from mentors and attend informative lectures delivered by renowned faculty members. Interns will also get a chance to participate in various Chinese cultural activities. Students who will apply for degree programs in the future will be given preference for winning a sponsorship if they have a certificate of completion of the GRIPS internship in China.

- 5-6 weeks (starting from 23rd June 2025- onwards)

Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time as undergraduates or graduates at their home university.
- Undergraduates should have completed minimum 2 years of study at their home university in a relevant field.
- Applicants must have an excellent academic record with a CGPA of ‘B’ or above.
- Applicants must study requirements of the projects they are applying in.
Application
- In stage 1, read all the guidelines carefully before applying. Then find a PI from the projects available on the website.
- Contact the PI directly to get more information about your selected projects.
- Applicants have to prepare all the required application materials in advance.
- Applicants cannot choose more than two PIs of their interest from the 4 host universities, but they will be selected for only 1 project.
- Submit the application before the portal closes.
- In Stage 2, click the “Apply Now” button.
- Create a new account by entering your email address, password and other details.
- Log in with this email and password.
- Fill in the online application form.
- Enter all your personal, academic, and contact information.
- Upload the required application materials.
- In Stage 3, submit your application online before March 9th, 2025.
- In Stage 4, the admissions team will contact you through email, so check your emails regularly.
