Applications are now open for the second edition of the ANPI Africa Business Heroes Competition organized by the Jack Ma Foundation.
The Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) prize competition, seeks to identify, support and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their local communities, working to solve the most pressing problems, and building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.
Every year, ten finalists will be selected to compete in the ABH finale pitch competition that will be broadcast online and across the continent. The finalists will compete for a share of US $1.5 million in grant money.

Eligibility
They are looking for Africa’s Business Heroes who are bold, passionate, resilient, innovative and impact-oriented.
African business owners from all 54 African countries are eligible to apply irrespective of age, industry sector or gender. However, ANPI has a strict set of criteria:
- Applicant should be the Founder or a Co-Founder of the company.
- Applicant has African citizenship or is the child or grand-child of an African citizen.
- The Company is Africa-Based.
- The business is registered and headquartered in an African country, and primarily operates in Africa.
- Company is post-Idea stage.
- Business is 3 years old or more and has at least 3 years of revenue history.
- At various stages of the application, we will require documents to prove these criteria. If you meet all these criteria, we welcome you to apply.
How to Apply
Candidates are required to complete the following:

- Attend ANPI-Partner skill-building webinars and online workshops to support you through your application and to develop business management skills. Webinars
