Under this Knight-Hennessy Scholarship Program, the selected students will also get to become an integral part of the King Global Leadership Program (KGLP). Course Level
- The KHS scholarship program is available for every graduate program not limited to only JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, DMA, and PhD programs, as well as joint- and dual degrees.
Benefits
- The scholars will receive a funding grant for up to three years from the time of admission and selection.
- A stipend to cover tuition and associated fees.
- A living stipend will be paid.
- A living and education stipend will be paid which will cover room and board, books, academic supplies, instructional material, local transport costs, and reasonable personal expenses.
- An economy class return ticket to and from Stanford will be given annually.
- A one-time relocation stipend
- A supplementary grant will be provided to enrich educational insight through conferences and travel.
- If the scholars choose summer research projects as additional learning, they will be given a special summer grant for the course.
Eligibility
- Graduates from every nationality, ethnicity, gender, or age can apply for the scholarship.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled and accepted in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program.
- The applicant must be a newly enrolled student in a graduate program.
- The applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree in January 2018 or later.
- In the case of applicants who are from the US military (active or veteran), their degree must be earned in January 2015 or later.
- The applicant must fulfill these three criteria: 1) Independence of thought 2) Purposeful leadership 3) Civic Mindset.
- TOEFL is accepted by all the Stanford graduate programs. However, the MBA program also accepts IELTS and PTE.
Application
- To apply, the applicants have to apply separately for the scholarship and for the Stanford University graduate degree program.
- In the scholarship form, the applicant has to indicate the Stanford degree program to which the applicant will apply.
- The application for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship will be submitted online.
- The application material must be submitted in English via an online application.
- It is recommended that the applicant must be using an advanced version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox while applying.
