Applications for the Max Planck Doucet Scholarship in Germany are now open! The Max Planck Institute is offering a fully funded three-month Doucet Scholarship for young researchers. Selected scholars will have access to materials available at the Max Planck Institute’s Library for the History and Theory of Law.

During the scholarship program in Berlin, participants will stay at the Max Planck Institute, where they will get an international and supportive working environment. The research scholarship in Germany will offer a salary of €1,365 as financial support for the program. It can be used to cover miscellaneous expenses. The traveling cost will also be reimbursed by the host institute for both Transatlantic and European flights.

The library collection includes historical and fundamental legal-historical sources, along with scientific research on the history of early modern law, particularly covering the Hispanic-American region up to the time of independence.
