Swedish Institute Impact Pioneers 2025 is a prestigious leadership program designed for individuals passionate about building local ecosystems for climate tech entrepreneurship. The program runs over eight weeks, combining online learning with a one-week summit in Stockholm. Participants will join a global network of peers, engage in interactive discussions, and gain insights from Sweden’s leading voices in sustainable innovation and green technology.

With a strong focus on climate tech, the 2025 edition of Impact Pioneers encourages participants to explore how technology can tackle the causes and impacts of climate change. The fully funded leadership program is ideal for leaders working in accelerators, incubators, innovation hubs, or organizations that support entrepreneurship. By exchanging ideas and experiences, participants will sharpen their leadership skills and develop practical strategies for driving sustainable change in their communities.

This SI leadership program brings together like-minded individuals who are committed to addressing global challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship. It emphasizes collaboration, creative thinking, and the importance of strong local ecosystems in achieving long-term climate solutions. Impact Pioneers 2025 is more than a leadership program, it’s a powerful platform to inspire action and shape a sustainable future.

Benefits

Participation in Impact Pioneers 2025 is completely free of charge. The Swedish Institute covers all major expenses, including:

  • The full learning program
  • Round-trip flights to Sweden for the onsite summit
  • Accommodation, meals, local transport, and insurance during the stay in Sweden

Eligibility

  • Must be a citizen and resident of one of the 26 eligible countries.
  • Currently work in an organization or business that supports the growth of entrepreneurs.
  • Have the authority or role to develop international partnerships for your organization.
  • Possess good written and spoken English skills.
  • Be actively willing to participate, share knowledge, and support other participants.
  • Have already identified challenges or opportunities to work on during the program, focused on improving your local climate tech entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Requirements for Your Organization or Business:

  • Must be locally owned and based in one of the eligible countries.
  • Should be supporting or planning to support entrepreneurs, especially in sustainability or green innovation.
  • Operate with a clear focus on contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Application

  • Only complete applications submitted through the official portal will be considered.
  • The application includes eligibility questions, a motivation section, a 60–120 second video, and your latest resume/CV.
  • Start by reviewing the Application Overview (PDF) to understand all the questions and prepare your answers.
  • Visit the DreamApply portal and register your profile.
  • Select the program: “Impact Pioneers ’25: Enabling Climate Tech Entrepreneurship”.
  • Click on “Apply Now!” and fill in all required sections (listed in the left-hand menu).
  • Upload your pre-recorded video and CV as instructed in the portal.
  • Review your application and submit it before the deadline.
