The Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) is excited to announce the inaugural Africa Climate Academy from 7th October, 2024 to 11th October, 2024. The Academy is an education platform designed to foster a paradigm shift in the understanding and discourse surrounding climate change, energy transition, and it’s implications for Africa.
Benefits

Eligibility
- Be an African residing in Africa
- Hold a position as a policymaker, media professional, civil society leader, or academic with a demonstrated interest in climate change and energy-related issues.
- Have at least three years of work experience in your respective field, with a proven commitment to addressing the risks of oil dependence and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in exploring sustainable energy alternatives and their potential to reduce fossil fuel dependency across Africa.
- Be fully available to participate in the one-week program, including all sessions and activities.
- Possess a strong command of English, as the program will be conducted in English.
