As we prepare to increase energy access to more off-grid communities in Nigeria, we recognize the importance of having the best talent join us on the audacious mission we are embarking on. Moreso, despite the level of energy poverty in Nigeria, there are only a handful of opportunities that help prepare Nigeria’s young minds to tackle this menace. This is why today, we are announcing our Graduate Trainee Program – a holistic program designed to train the next crop of young leaders in the off-grid energy access space.
Over time, we have received numerous applications from individuals seeking to volunteer or work at Havenhill with the aim of gaining relevant industry experience. While our ability to accept these candidates have been limited over the years, we are delighted to announce that we now have the bandwidth to not only accept more people, but also create a more focused development for those accepted. This is our invitation to the brightest youngsters out there who have a keen interest in energy access across the country.
The Havenhill Graduate Trainee Program is targeted at talented entry-level graduates with little or no work experience who have a strong desire to participate in the fast-growing off-grid energy access space in Nigeria. This program will help selected candidates gain practical experience through hands-on projects within the energy access industry. Simply put, selected candidates will benefit simply from the act of learning by doing with guidance and supervision from experienced leaders within our company. This program will leverage the specific learning goals of the trainee to provide a worthwhile experience for them.
What to expect?
A well-rounded learning experience with clearly defined objectives for each trainee that will promote personal and career development.
This program will be for a maximum of 12 months with the opportunity to gain experience across different departments including but not limited to technical, business development, customer service, administrative, communications and IT within the organisation.
