Yale Climate Fellowship is a hybrid program with three parts, including both in-person and remote sessions. The in-person fellowship program in the US will include an orientation week at Yale University from 16-20 February, 2026. Participants and experts will set the framework for the global climate change discussion. After that, fellows will participate in interactive remote sessions with top climate experts from March- June 2026. These sessions will be on policy issues related to climate change and the clean energy transition.
The second in-person fellowship program in Paris will take place from June 15–19, 2026. Fellows will share information with each other gained through this program. During this leadership program in France, leaders will have networking opportunities with officials of different international and government agencies. At the end, participants will present their recommendations to an advisory committee and publish their findings as well. This international fellowship program will help fellows develop their technical skills and professional networks.

Eligibility
- Applicants should be between 5-10 years into their professional careers with regional, local, or global achievements.
- There is no specific age requirement but young applicants will be given preference.
- Applicants should be representatives of the Global South. Candidates from developing Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America/Caribbean are welcome to apply.
- Applicants should have an excellent command of English language.
- Applicants must be available to participate in all three parts of the program, including 2 in-person and 5 remote sessions.
- Fellows must also work on a collaborative group project.
